Llevaba ya varias semanas concursando en mi segunda etapa en Pasapalabra, y la gente me empezaba a reconocer por donde fuera. Una mañana, en Torrelavega, donde vivo, me crucé, en la plaza donde del Ayuntamineto, con una pareja que me parecieron turistas. La ropa deportiva, la cámara de fotos, y su deambular sin prisa les delataban. Al llegar junto a la mujer, nos miramos y vi que ella se sorprendía. Pensé que me había reconocido, y que me iba a preguntar si era Paz, la de Pasalabra, como hacen todos.

Pero, en lugar de eso, la mujer afirmó rotunda: "¡Tú eres de Logroño!".

"No", respondí yo.

"Tienes que ser de Logroño", repitió la señora.

Entonces yo le pregunté: "¿Usted es de Logroño?", a lo que ella respondió: "Claro, por eso lo digo, porque yo la conozo a usted, y aquí no conozco a nadie...".

Me dio la risa, y le saqué de su dilema: "¿Usted ve Pasapalabra?". Entonces la luz se hizo en su mente. Nos despedimos muy divertidos.
